Since 2016, more than 100 diplomats and intelligence officials from the White House, CIA and FBI have reported sudden and unexplained symptoms such as tinnitus, nausea, dizziness, headaches, nosebleeds and memory problems.

The Insider, Der Spiegel and CBS's '60 Minutes' claimed to have uncovered a possible Russian connection to the cases of Americans suffering strange pains while serving on behalf of the United States.

Yesterday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied any Russian involvement in the cases and called the accusations baseless.

Dmitry Peskov also emphasized that the issue is far from new and that, according to him, the Russians have been implicated from the very beginning.

According to three Western media outlets that have been investigating these mysterious incidents for several years, new evidence suggests that they may have been caused by attacks by a special unit of the GRU, Russia's military intelligence service.
