WHO Director-General Ghebreyesus' Message for World Hand Hygiene Day
Geneva, May 5 (Hibya) – World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus issued a statement on the occasion of World Hand Hygiene Day.
Ghebreyesus stated that no one should get sick while seeking care, and that healthcare workers must remain safe while providing care.
On World Hand Hygiene Day, he called on healthcare workers and health facilities around the world to follow safe practices for hand hygiene and medical glove use.
