WHO Director-General Ghebreyesus thanks the UAE
Geneva, December 17 (Hibya) – World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus thanked the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for its support of the WHO’s work and its contributions to the patient evacuation program from Gaza.
Ghebreyesus thanked the UAE and MBR Initiatives CEO Saeed Al Eter for their support of the WHO’s activities worldwide, noting that he was pleased to learn about MBR Initiatives’ new projects and their impacts.
He also expressed his gratitude for the UAE’s support of the WHO program to evacuate patients from Gaza and for hosting the Global Health Emergency Logistics Center, which has delivered life-saving medical supplies to more than 200 million people worldwide.
