WHO Director-General Ghebreyesus: There is truly no safe corner in Gaza
Geneva, July 9 (Hibya) - World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated that there is no safe corner in Gaza.
Ghebreyesus said that this would further hinder the provision of life-saving care, which is already very limited in Gaza City.
WHO Director-General Ghebreyesus stated that the Al-Ahli and Patient Friendly hospitals are out of service and added:
"Patients either evacuated themselves, were discharged early, or were directed to Kamal Adwan and Indonesian hospitals; however, these hospitals face fuel shortages, beds, and trauma medical supplies. The Indonesian hospital is operating at three times its capacity."
