WHO: First person dies from H5N2 bird flu

According to the WHO, the deceased person began experiencing fever, shortness of breath, diarrhea, nausea, and general discomfort on April 24, after which he passed away.

According to the WHO, the deceased person had various underlying illnesses, but "had not previously had contact with poultry or other animals".
