Yermak: Child abduction is not just a war crime
Kyiv, May 21 (Hibya) – Head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, stated that child abduction is not only a war crime, but an attempt to erase identity and destroy the future of the nation.
Yermak noted that an important signal came from the US: “A bipartisan group in the Senate introduced a resolution clearly stating that ‘no peace agreement with Russia can be signed until all abducted Ukrainian children are returned.’”
He emphasized that child abduction is not just a war crime:
“It is an attempt to erase our identity and destroy the future of the nation. We will not allow it. We thank the senators for their support. The return of every child is our shared responsibility. And it is a condition for ending the war.”
