Ynet: IDF drops 73 tons of explosives on Hezbollah Intelligence Headquarters
Stockholm, October 4 (Hibya) - The Israeli Air Force dropped 73 tons of explosives on a facility in a Beirut suburb that is described as the main intelligence headquarters of the Hezbollah movement, the Israeli news portal Ynet reported.
The movement's purged leader, Hassan Nasrallah, could be found there.
"On Friday night, IAF jets dropped 73 tons of bombs on a bunker in the Dahiya district, described as Hezbollah's 'intelligence headquarters.' It is estimated that Hashim Safi al-Din, who was expected to succeed Hassan Nasrallah, was inside the compound at the time, along with other senior members of the movement," the portal wrote.
The results of the attack are not yet clear, the portal noted.
