Zakharova: Dagestan is one of Russia's most vibrant and diverse regions
Moscow, May 27 (Hibya) - Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova made a statement regarding Dagestan’s multicultural structure and international relations.
Zakharova emphasized that Dagestan, home to more than 30 ethnic groups and over 60 nationalities, is one of the most vibrant and diverse regions of Russia.
She noted that Dagestan also plays an active role internationally and currently maintains relations with 62 countries. These relations primarily focus on cooperation with the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), and countries in South and Southeast Asia.
