Instead of Aleksey Malovetsky, Head of the International and Operational Law Department of the Central Legal Directorate of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, his deputy Andrey Fomin will participate in the negotiations.

Early Wednesday, a source said that the number of the Russian delegation has not changed.

The parties held two rounds of talks in Istanbul in May and June. The result was a prisoner exchange, and Ukraine received the bodies of its fallen soldiers. The delegations also exchanged draft memorandums on a peaceful solution vision. The new meeting is expected to address the memorandums and humanitarian issues.

On Tuesday, a Turkish source told RIA Novosti that the third round of talks between Moscow and Kiev was expected to take place on Wednesday at 19:00 Moscow time at the Çırağan Palace, but the date and time are not yet confirmed. Russia has not confirmed this information.

On Saturday, Volodymyr Zelenski said that the Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, Rustem Umerov, proposed holding a new round of talks next week.
