Zelenski: The process needs to gain more momentum
Kyiv, July 18 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski stated that the implementation of the agreements reached at the Istanbul meeting is ongoing, emphasizing that the process needs to gain more momentum.
President Zelenski revealed that he discussed with Rustem Umerov the work of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council and the General Staff of the Supreme Commander, as well as his personal duties in the fields of defense and negotiations.
Zelenski stressed the need to continue working with partners on arms agreements: "We must fully implement every agreement we have made with our partners regarding arms supply, as well as new special agreements concerning the establishment of joint production facilities and construction of manufacturing plants on our partners’ territories."
Zelenski expressed that clear coordination and full implementation of decisions in Ukraine's defense and security sector is essential.
He noted that the implementation of the agreements reached during the second Istanbul meeting is ongoing, emphasizing that this process needs to gain further momentum.
