Zelenskiy presses US to strike deep into Russia
Washington, September 1 (Hibya) - Zelenskyy has sent his defence minister to Washington to pressure them to allow American missiles to hit targets in Russia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Saturday renewed his call for the US to allow the Ukrainian army to strike targets deep inside Russia.
Since the beginning of the war, the US has imposed restrictions on weapons donated by the Americans. The weapons can only be used to strike targets in Ukrainian territory occupied by Russia.
"We talk about this with our allies every day. We try to convince them and present our arguments," Zelenskyy said.
