Zelensky: 500 tons of Ukrainian wheat flour shipped to Syria
Kyiv, December 27 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that 500 tons of Ukrainian wheat flour had been shipped to Syria as part of the humanitarian aid program "Grain from Ukraine," implemented in cooperation with the World Food Program (WFP).
Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that they are supporting the Syrian people in times of need, as promised.
Zelensky mentioned that 500 tons of Ukrainian wheat flour had been shipped to Syria as part of the humanitarian aid program "Grain from Ukraine," implemented in cooperation with the World Food Program (WFP), and added:
“The wheat flour is planned to be distributed in the coming weeks to 33,250 families or 167,000 people. Each package weighs 15 kilograms and can feed a family of five for a month. We wish Syria and its people safety, stability, and recovery. We understand the true value of these.”
