Zelensky announced that they participated in the oath ceremony of Pope Leo XIV at the Vatican, together with representatives from many countries and thousands of believers from around the world.

Expressing gratitude for the special words said during the mass about the need for a just peace and the attention shown to Ukraine and its people, Zelensky said, “Every nation deserves to live in peace and security.”

Zelensky added, “We extend our congratulations on the beginning of this very special mission. May prayers for a just peace and a dignified life for all people be heard.”
