Zelensky: German support will reach 7 billion euros this year
Kyiv, April 1 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.
President Zelensky met with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.
He stated that they discussed further support for the state, the path to an honorable peace, and the development of security guarantee formats:
"Germany is the leading European country in the scale of aid provided to Ukraine — from financial aid and weapons to strengthening our air defense. This includes 6 IRIS-T systems, 3 Patriot systems, and Gepard anti-aircraft guns. All this support has saved thousands of lives. We are grateful to the Bundestag for its decision to provide an additional 3 billion euros. In total, German support will reach 7 billion euros this year."
