Zelensky: Lives in Ukraine are under threat almost every day
Kyiv, January 4 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky drew attention to Russia’s escalating air attacks and called on allies to accelerate defense assistance.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the international community, sharing data on Russia’s intensified attacks in recent days.
Detailing the scale of the attacks with figures, Zelensky said: “This week alone, Russia launched more than 1,070 guided aerial bombs, around a thousand attack drones, and 6 missiles against Ukraine. Because of Russia’s attacks with various weapons against our people, lives in Ukraine are under threat almost every day.”
Emphasizing the critical importance of air defense systems, Zelensky added: “Everything agreed with our partners must be accelerated as much as possible. Every air defense missile in partners’ warehouses can truly save lives.”
Zelensky noted that stable and predictable assistance to Ukraine could steer Moscow toward diplomacy.
Stressing their reliance on the support of the United States, Europe, and the Coalition of Volunteers, Zelensky expressed gratitude to all parties striving for a just peace.
