President Zelensky announced that he met with Speaker Marketa Adamova and the Deputy Speakers representing all political parties in the Czech Parliament.

He stated that the meeting focused on support for Ukraine and peace, adding, “The situation on the battlefield proves that Russia does not want a lasting silence that would open the way to diplomacy.”

Zelensky also said they discussed sanctions and Ukraine’s future in the European Union:

“We look forward to stronger sanctions against Russia and the opening of the first clusters in negotiations on Ukraine's EU membership. I am grateful to the Czech Parliament and all political forces for standing by our state since the first days of the full-scale war. I also thank them for their support of our aspirations toward NATO and the EU.”
