Ukrainian President Zelensky met with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

Zelensky thanked Steinmeier for his contribution, especially regarding the delivery of life-saving and air defense systems, and for Germany’s European leadership in providing defense support to Ukraine, stating:

"We discussed our cooperation at both national and regional levels and additional support for our people. The German President's patronage of the Chernihiv region is particularly important. Thanks to this support, four shelters are currently being equipped in communities across the region."
