Zelensky: Several sanction packages were announced today
Kyiv, May 25 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that several sanction packages were introduced today.
Zelensky stated that the first package targets Russian individuals involved in financing terrorist activities serving Russia’s interests, financial manipulations, and schemes to evade sanctions.
The second package includes Russian propagandists spreading lies that fuel attacks against Ukraine. “The third package targets members of Russian mafia groups who played a key role in establishing Putin’s regime and are still connected to it. We are working on aligning Ukraine’s sanctions with those of the European Union and other major global legal jurisdictions,” he said.
