Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine brought back 205 soldiers today.

Zelensky noted that the soldiers included both young and old from nearly all units of the Armed Forces: "Young and old soldiers. Defenders of Mariupol and heroes of the entire front line. They had been scattered across various parts of Russia, imprisoned in a system designed solely to make them suffer and strip them of their humanity. We brought them back. I’m grateful to everyone who worked on this exchange. Special thanks to the United Arab Emirates and all our partners who mediated and supported us. Thank you to everyone who refuses to stay silent about Ukrainian captives and continues to speak up. We fight every day for our people. We will do everything we can to bring each one of them home."
