Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that the US has imposed new sanctions on Russia's oil sector, targeting the shadow tanker fleet and companies like Surgutneftegaz, which serve as Putin's personal wallet.

He also expressed gratitude for the sanctions imposed on Rosatom officials, stating: "This is crucial to pressuring Russia's nuclear industry due to the hostage situation at our Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant."

Zelensky noted that the United Kingdom has taken new steps to limit Moscow's revenue from energy resources.

Zelensky emphasized that during his recent visit to Italy, sanctions were an important topic of discussion, adding: "Italy firmly supports maintaining pressure on Russia, and I am grateful for its help in working with the EU to prevent Russia's plans to bypass sanctions and to continue all measures aimed at forcing Russia into peace."
