Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declared that they are deeply grateful for America's leadership in holding Russia accountable.

Zelensky today expressed his gratitude to U.S. President Joe Biden’s administration and the American people for announcing a new sanctions package targeting more than 400 entities linked to Russia's energy sector. "The bipartisan support of the United States is truly significant, and we deeply feel it," said Zelensky.

Zelensky emphasized that the pressure on entities like Surgutneftegaz, a personal financial source for Putin, is remarkable. "Such actions send a clear message: Criminals must pay for their crimes. The less revenue Russia earns from oil and other energy sources, the faster peace will be achieved," he added.
