Zelensky: We solemnly honor all our heroes who gave their lives defending Ukraine
Kyiv, January 29 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky participated in a ceremony commemorating Kruty Heroes Memorial Day.
The ceremony took place near the memorial cross dedicated to the Kruty Heroes at Askold’s Grave in Kyiv.
Zelensky emphasized that everyone should remember the success of those who stopped the Bolsheviks’ advance toward Kyiv over 100 years ago, saying: "And our heroes defending our country against Russian aggression. They all fought for Ukraine’s sovereignty and independence. Our nation continues to fight for its future. We solemnly honor all our heroes who gave their lives defending Ukraine".
