Zelensky: We're working every day to provide better protection to our people and Ukraine
KIEV - 28.03.2024 - HIBYA - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia is further brutalizing towards Kharkiv, stating one person died in the attack.
Zelensky emphasized that Russian terror has become even more brutal towards Kharkiv, saying, "Russia continues to push over a million people into darkness and continues to regularly launch missiles and drones. Now there are also air bombs. They're hitting regular streets, homes, schools, and ordinary civilian infrastructure."
Zelensky reported that one person died so far, saying, "I express condolences to the family of the affected individual. There are at least 19 injured. Necessary assistance is being provided to all affected."
Zelensky underscored the importance of strengthening Ukraine's air defense and expediting the delivery of F-16s to Ukraine, saying, "There's no good explanation for why Patriots, abundant around the world, still don't cover the skies over Kharkiv and other cities and communities targeted by Russian terrorists. We're working every day to provide better protection to our people and Ukraine."
