Al Busaidi: We will take Oman-UK relations further
London, October 27 (Hibya) - Oman's Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi met with parliamentarians during his visit to the British House of Commons. The discussions addressed regional and global challenges and the development of relations between the two countries.
Oman's Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi visited the House of Commons at the invitation of Foreign Affairs Committee Chair Emily Thornberry. During the visit, Al Busaidi also met with Speaker of the House of Commons Lindsay Hoyle.
Al Busaidi said, "This reflects our shared goal of taking relations between Oman and the United Kingdom to new heights through deeper cooperation."
Minister Al Busaidi noted that the meetings were aimed at maintaining the positive momentum generated following the official visit of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman to the United Kingdom.
