Elazığ will host the International Aquaculture Summit from October 19 to 23, 2026. Organized in cooperation with ANASUMDER, the Elazığ City Council and Aqua Life Of Türkiye Publishing Group, the event will address production, trade, technology and sustainability in the fisheries and aquaculture sector.

Representatives from 19 countries are expected to attend the summit, which will be held under the slogan "From the Euphrates to the world, the new route of trade." The program will feature business meetings, investment opportunities, international partnerships and technical field activities. The summit's opening ceremony will take place on Tuesday, October 20, at 10:00 a.m.

Public sector, academia and private sector to come together

ANASUMDER President Ergün Aslan stated that the summit aims to strengthen cooperation among various stakeholders in the sector. Emphasizing the importance of bringing together public institutions, universities, producers, engineers and private sector representatives, Aslan said they aim to contribute to the industry's development through joint initiatives.
