Al-Thani meets Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishankar
Doha, July 5 (Hibya) - Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with India's External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, who is in Doha on an official visit.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and discussed steps to further strengthen them. Particular emphasis was placed on enhancing economic cooperation, increasing bilateral trade, and expanding mutual investment opportunities.
The two ministers also discussed regional developments and their impact on the global economy and energy markets, while exchanging views on a range of international issues of mutual interest.
The meeting underscored the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving international disputes and conflicts. Both sides agreed that diplomatic solutions contribute to strengthening regional and global security and stability.
Qatar and India also agreed to make joint working mechanisms and bilateral committees more effective in priority areas for both countries, with the aim of deepening cooperation in the economic, commercial, and strategic fields.
