Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese emphasized that the United States (US) is Australia's strongest ally, describing the relationship between the two countries as “a strong friendship built on shared democratic values and shaped by history.”

In his statement, Albanese said that the US-Australia alliance is stronger today than ever before and that both countries look to their shared future with optimism.

Referring to the 250th anniversary of the United States, Albanese said: “As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, we look forward to our shared future with hope. Because by working together, we can deliver results for both Australia and the United States.”
