Albares: Gibraltar agreement has brought down Europe's last wall
Madrid, July 19 (Hibya) - Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares described the agreement reached on Gibraltar as a historic turning point, saying, "Europe's last wall has come down."
Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares said that a new era has begun in relations between Spain and the United Kingdom.
Albares stated that the agreement would usher in a new era of coexistence for the Campo de Gibraltar region, adding, "The historic agreement on Gibraltar is now a reality. Europe's last wall has come down."
Albares said the agreement represents a major achievement for around 300,000 Andalusians in the region, stating, "A success for the 300,000 Andalusians of Campo de Gibraltar."
