Madrid, August 5 (Hibya) – Spain's Minister of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, stated that Spain rejects the illegal annexation of Gaza or the West Bank.

He stated that such actions are contrary to international law and hinder a two-state solution, adding: "We will continue working towards the implementation of the two-state solution, which is the only path to peace in the region."
