Madrid, June 12 (Hibya) – Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, said that Spain took a decisive step in its history 40 years ago.
Minister Albares stated that the Accession Treaty was signed on June 12, 1985, marking a significant moment in Spain’s history.
He emphasized that the treaty marked the beginning of an era of progress and prosperity and highlighted Spain’s contribution to the EU, saying: “40 years later, we continue building our Europe together.”
