Azerbaijani President Aliyev issued a message on the occasion of the opening of the 6th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition “ADEX 2026” and the 15th International Internal Security, Protection and Rescue Equipment Exhibition “Securex Caspian 2026” in Baku.

Aliyev said the ADEX exhibition attracts growing interest every year and that the representation of numerous countries and leading companies at the event demonstrates its international importance.

Aliyev noted that new technologies in various fields of the defense industry, modern weapons systems, military vehicles and innovative solutions are showcased at the exhibition, adding that the event provides an opportunity to assess new avenues of cooperation and establish partnerships based on mutual benefit.

Aliyev said strengthening defense capabilities and ensuring national security are among the priority areas of Azerbaijan’s state policy, noting that the country’s defense industry has significantly expanded its production capacity.

Aliyev said products manufactured by Azerbaijan’s defense industry enterprises play an important role in supplying the Armed Forces and also stand out for their competitiveness in international markets.

Aliyev added that the “Securex Caspian” exhibition has also become one of the specialized events showcasing advanced technologies in the fields of security, protection, rescue and emergency management, and assessed that the two exhibitions would contribute to establishing new business ties among participants and strengthening military-technical cooperation.
