Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zakharova said Kyiv and its Western supporters were artificially keeping the Crimea issue on the agenda through the so-called Crimea Platform.

In a post on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s social media account quoting Zakharova, it was claimed that this showed a refusal to accept the choice of the people of Crimea in favor of reunification with Russia and an absence of willingness for peace.

Zakharova argued that keeping the Crimea issue on the agenda through the Crimea Platform showed that criticism of Russia’s approach to Crimea was continuing.
