American stock indices close the day mostly lower
Istanbul, November 3 (Hibya) – Major indices across markets in the Americas ended the trading session with a generally bearish outlook, while the Nasdaq 100 index lost 1.39 percent of its value, falling to 27,989.82 points.
According to end-of-day data from American stock markets, the Nasdaq 100 index closed at 27,989.82 points. Among the region's other major indicators, the S&P 500 index declined by 0.51 percent to 7,541.40 points, while the Dow Jones index gained 0.41 percent, rising to 51,983.98 points. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq index recorded a loss of 1.07 percent, standing at 25,164.32 points.
