Anand: We are advancing our cooperation with Mexico in trade, security and foreign policy
Ottawa, July 18 (Hibya) - Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand said cooperation with Mexico in the fields of trade, security and foreign policy is continuing under the Canada-Mexico Action Plan.
Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand made remarks on strengthening economic and diplomatic relations with Mexico.
Anand said bilateral trade between Canada and Mexico has exceeded 62 billion dollars and that the two countries have maintained diplomatic relations for nearly 80 years.
She noted that they are continuing their work under the Canada-Mexico Action Plan with Mexico's Deputy Foreign Minister for North America, Roberto Velasco Álvarez, adding that cooperation between the two countries in trade, security and foreign policy is being further advanced.
