Australian Foreign Minister Wong: About 40 million people live with HIV
Canberra, November 30 (Hibya) – Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong stated that about 40 million people live with HIV.
Foreign Minister Wong noted that about 40 million people live with HIV, adding: "Approximately 7 million of them are in the Indo-Pacific region. Although we have made significant progress in HIV treatment, this shows that the fight is not yet over."
Wong emphasized the determination to end AIDS by 2030 on World AIDS Day.
