Baghaei: We condemn the ongoing crimes of the Zionist regime in occupied Palestine
Tehran, April 3 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei reacted to Israel's ongoing crimes in occupied Palestine.
According to a statement from the ministry, Baghaei strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s continuous attacks and crimes against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, especially during Eid al-Fitr.
He referred to the recent report by the UN Human Rights Council’s Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food, which calls for pressure on the Israeli regime to stop using starvation and famine as a tool of genocide.
The spokesman reminded UN human rights mechanisms of their responsibilities and expressed regret over the inaction of some Western countries, such as the UK, Canada, Germany, and France, which claim to support human rights but remain silent in the face of systematic and horrific violations committed by Israel in occupied Palestine.
