Estonia expected to raise defense spending to 5% of GDP
Brussels, April 3 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna announced that the country is expected to raise its defense spending to 5% of its gross domestic product (GDP) by 2026.
Tsahkna noted that Europe is intensifying its defense efforts.
He stated that Estonia plans to raise defense spending to 5% of GDP by 2026, adding: “Putin has shown he does not want peace, which means sanctions must be intensified.”
