Baqaei: Success of Iranian female athletes is a source of pride
Tehran, September 24 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baqaei congratulated the Iranian female athletes who won medals at the Nagoya Asian Games, as well as their coaches, families and the Iranian people.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baqaei made a statement regarding the gold medals won by Fatemeh Mojallal, Zeinab Norouzi and Kimia Zarei, as well as the silver medal won by Iran’s women’s quadruple rowing team.
Baqaei said the performance of Iranian female athletes at the Nagoya Asian Games was a source of pride, adding that the achievements were the result of the athletes’ talent, hard work, discipline and determination.
Emphasizing determination, Baqaei said, “The merit of these athletes, who brought honor to Iran in the Asian sporting arena with their outstanding talents, is the result of their hard work, discipline and determination.”
Baqaei congratulated the athletes, their coaches, families and all the people of Iran on the achievement.
