Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez criticized the actions of foreign powers aimed at blocking Cuba’s energy supply and drew attention to the scale of the sanctions imposed.

Referring to the economic pressure on his country, Bermudez said, “There are no limits to imperialist perversity. After imposing bans on every country attempting to supply fuel to Cuba, they are now targeting CUPET in order to tighten the oil embargo even further.”

Bermudez also highlighted pressure on international trade relations, stating, “They are issuing new threats against those who trade with the Cuban company.”
