Biden: The Palestinian Islamic Movement can no longer carry out another October 7
Washington, October 17 (Hibya) – United States President Joe Biden stated that the Palestinian Islamic Movement can no longer carry out another October 7.
President Biden said that Israeli officials informed his national security team that an operation in Gaza had likely led to the death of the Palestinian Islamic Movement leader Yahya Sinwar.
Biden confirmed that DNA tests had verified Sinwar's death, stating, "This is a good day for Israel, the United States, and the world."
Biden noted that Sinwar was responsible for the deaths of thousands of Israelis, Palestinians, Americans, and citizens from over 30 countries, and added:
"Israel had the right to eliminate the leadership and military structure of the Palestinian Islamic Movement. This movement can no longer carry out another October 7. I will speak with Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders to congratulate them and discuss the return of hostages to their families and ending this war that has brought so much destruction to innocent people, once and for all."
