President Biden stated that he is frequently updated about the wildfires in West Los Angeles.

He noted that he is in constant communication with state and local officials, saying: "I have offered all necessary federal assistance to suppress the horrific Pacific Palisades fire. Earlier this evening, FEMA approved a Fire Management Assistance Grant to support affected areas and help the state of California reimburse emergency firefighting costs."

Emphasizing that his administration will do everything possible to support the response, Biden added: "I urge residents of Los Angeles, especially those in Pacific Palisades and surrounding areas, to remain vigilant and follow local authorities."
