Borrell: Latvia sets an example in investments for supporting Ukraine
Riga, July 20 (Hibya)—EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell stated that Latvia is a leading example in investments in supporting Ukraine and in defence.
EU High Representative Borrell thanked Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds for his insight into the challenges faced by the EU's external border.
Borrell noted that Latvia sets an example in investments for supporting Ukraine and in defence, adding: “In light of the Russian threat, the EU has a strategic responsibility to work together and enhance readiness for defence.”
