Brekelmans: Putin wants to re-establish his sphere of influence
Amsterdam, 14 December (Hibya) – Dutch Minister of Defence Ruben Brekelmans said that Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to re-establish the Soviet Union’s sphere of influence in Europe.
Dutch Defence Minister Brekelmans stated that Putin aims to re-establish the Soviet Union’s sphere of influence in Europe.
Saying that Russia is building a massive war machine in order to test others and be ready for a major conflict by 2030, Brekelmans said, “Therefore, we must strongly reinforce our security shield. Only in this way can we prevent dark scenarios.”
