Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys made statements on Russia’s strategies in Ukraine and the latest missile attacks.

Referring to Russia’s efforts to legitimize its attacks, Budrys said: “While Ukraine, the United States and European countries are doing their utmost to end Russia’s aggressive war against Ukraine and achieve a lasting peace, terrorist Russia continues to display what it does best.”

Reacting to the use of the Oreshnik missile, Budrys stated: “The use of the ‘Oreshnik’ ballistic missile against natural gas storage facilities in the Lviv region is nothing more than a cynical spit in the face of everyone seeking peace. Will we ignore this, or will we make Russia feel the consequences?”

Calling on the international community to act, Minister Budrys concluded: “The time has come to take serious steps to bring Russia down once and for all.”
