According to a statement by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand will pay an official visit to Pakistan on July 20, 2026, at the invitation of Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

This will be Minister Anand's first official visit to Pakistan since taking office.

During the bilateral meetings to be held as part of the visit, Pakistan-Canada relations will be discussed in all aspects. The main agenda items will include strengthening cooperation in trade, investment, education, and people-to-people exchange programs.

The two ministers are also expected to exchange views on regional and global developments of mutual interest, while Minister Anand will additionally hold meetings with senior Pakistani officials during her visit.
