Carney: Canada–UAE economic partnership talks continue
Ottawa, 16 June (Hibya) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that discussions on an economic partnership with the United Arab Emirates are ongoing.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said he met with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the sidelines of the G7 Summit.
He noted that the meeting covered an economic partnership that could unlock billions of dollars in new investment for major infrastructure projects in Canada, adding that both sides also explored ways to create more opportunities for citizens of Canada and the UAE.
