Now, China is offering a unique vacation experience to its tourists: Santorini in China! An exact copy of Santorini Island has been built in the southwestern Chinese province of Yunnan.

The tourist complex, "Santorini Dali Resort," is located near a lake and offers guests lodges, small shops, and authentic Greek restaurants. In the resort, the characteristic white houses of the Mediterranean island, narrow streets, and blue windows have been built to the smallest detail.

The Chinese version of the Greek island attracts many tourists, especially for honeymoons. Some foreign internet celebrities who visit the place highlight the surprising resemblance between the copy and the original of the Greek resort. A video captured by one of these users has been viewed over 900 thousand times and received over a thousand comments. One user even claimed that the copy is better than the original.
