Condolence message from Italian Prime Minister Meloni to France
Rome, March 13 (Hibya) - Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni conveyed her deepest condolences to France for the French soldier who lost his life in what she described as an unjustified attack in Erbil.
Meloni said, “We express to his family and to the French authorities that we stand by them in this painful moment.”
Prime Minister Meloni also wished a swift and full recovery to the other soldiers injured in the attack and emphasized that Italy will continue to work decisively to reduce tensions together with its international partners, especially with the Gulf countries in the region. Meloni stated, “We will work with determination to restore peace and stability in the region.”
