Costa: Attack on the Honorary Consulate of Latvia is unacceptable
Brussels, July 24 (Hibya) - European Council President Antonio Costa condemned Russia's attack on the Honorary Consulate of Latvia in Sloviansk, expressing full solidarity with Latvia and Ukraine.
European Council President Antonio Costa issued a statement regarding Russia's attack on the diplomatic mission in Sloviansk, expressing his strong condemnation.
Condemning the attack, Costa said: "Russia's attack on the Honorary Consulate of Latvia in Sloviansk is a serious and unacceptable act. I strongly condemn this attack, which has resulted in loss of life and numerous injuries."
Costa concluded his statement by saying: "The European Union stands in full solidarity with Latvia and Ukraine."
