Croatia and Jordan discuss regional developments
Zagreb, September 25 (Hibya) – Croatia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman met with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi.
According to a statement from Croatia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman and Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi met on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The meeting addressed regional developments and Mediterranean cooperation. Croatia was noted to be holding the rotating presidency of the Mediterranean countries' group MED9, while Jordan was described as an important partner in the areas of security and stability.
The statement also said that Jordan's King Abdullah II is expected to attend the MED9 Summit to be held in Split in early October.
